Primary Colours Shoot

Well… the shoot is over. It was a whirlwind adventure, with a preface made of sleep deprivation. This wasn’t the first film I’ve done, where I’ve acted as the writer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor, etc, but after this experience, I’m hoping it will be the last.

The film stars Jessica Harvey as an artist struggling to find creativity for new material. Her search takes her out of the studio and into the “real world” where she finds inspiration for original work.

I created 8 unique posters, 5 oil paintings, full-colour storyboards, and an animated sequence for this film.

Last night I received the original music, composed by Matthew Morgan of Stella StageCoach fame. It’s good stuff. I am currently in the final stages of editing. Credits, colour correction, etc, which means I may be in for some long nights in order to have it completed and sent off by January 32.

Wish me luck, and leave a comment!
